Family,
Good week. Elder Darrington and I went on splits for church. We were able to schedule wang le, which was amazing. We are meeting him tomorrow. Also Jia JM has a book of mormon now and is excited to read it. Zou Jm is good, nothing to report. Fang and Chen still in mainland, hopefully they come back soon.
We found this big cauldren thing in our apartment and decided to use it for an object lesson at the bishop's house for his kids on friday. We filled it full of rice and hid some candy in it. We taught faith and how you have to act. It was fine. I don't know who's idea it was to do this though. It was quite hilarious and not very hilarious hauling this huge thing full of rice around all of Yuen Long and Tin Shui Wai. All the people on the MTR and light rail were very confused. Also when we got there, the bishop's family thought we had brought some food with us and they were really surprised. It was funny.
I still have been thinking and studying a lot about prayer lately, ever since conference. I love the line from President Eyring's talk "As you added your silent pleading in the name of Jesus Christ, you drew closer to Him." As we draw closer to Christ through prayer, he grows closer to us as well. I also this morning read in 3 nephi 18 and 19, which talk a lot about prayer. The Savior teaches us the importance of prayer and some pretty amazing blessings that accompany it as well. Maybe i'll send a recording of my thoughts, no time now.
