Hong Kong: THE SPIRIT WAS THERE IN FULL FORCE

Family,

Exciting week and a lot of changes.

We had lunch the other day and were drinking the soup and elder grayem exclaimed, "yes! I got a chicken foot in my soup." He was the lucky one for the week.

A lot of our investigators have been sick recently.

We met with Liu DX and planning on dropping him because he just seems to like the missionaries and doesn't have much interest about hte gospel, but now he is commited to be baptized. He is a really nice guy. Everytime we meet him, he invites us to come and watch a movie for free (he works at the cinema). Also he wears teh same jacket no matter what the temp is. Understanding a lot from the Book of Mormon. Surprising amount.

Wang le has been in Shenzhen and we got a call from a random number thinking it was him from mainland, but it wasn't. because of this we decided to call him up and see if he was back yet or not, and he was. He came to english class and we taught him after. We mixed it up and taught differnetly than we usually do. We taught lessons 2 and 3 together and used different rooms in the chapel to represent different things like pre-earth life, creation/agency/fall, this life (we used the stairs to the floor above and had faith, repentance on the stairs leading us to baptism (door to get to the upper floor) and so on. This helped him understand it suprising well. We had the celstial kingdom be the chapel upstairs. We walked in and lowered our volume of voice as we continued to teach and testify. The spirit was there in full force and we invited him again to be baptized. He readily accepted. We picked a date and he moved it up a month and a half, saying, "why do I have to wait so long?" He is scheduled for July 10. We have full confidence he can make this date. He has been prepared for a long time, we just happen to be the missionaries teaching him.

Also the stakes split from 4 to 6 this week. out of time.
